OUR FAULT OR BATS??? CORONAVIRUS: A WAKEUP CALL

Do you know that Wuhan outbreak is the 6th outbreak caused by viruses harbouring in wildlife in the last 26 years, the first five being H1 N1, Swine Flu, SARS, MERS, SADS & now COVID19.

We as a community need to question ourselves that why have the frequency of outbreaks increased??? If it continues the same way in future what shall be the impact on economy??? Do we have enough means for survival if locked down for months the way it is done in Wuhan??? My son who was supposed to go to France for his internship is stuck up due to visa closures. I am sure it must have impacted various others in different ways, it is also expected that many offices would permanently close down. Media seems to be highlighting the sufferings rather than discussing its eradication from root.

The increasing intensity and frequency of such respiratory diseases clearly shows that somewhere we are going wrong. The research shows that it has originated from Wuhan where the virus got transferred to humans. Wuhan markets have been thriving due to increase in demand of wide range of animals such as Bats, Civets, Pangolins, which are considered as delicacies and relished to such an extent that they are even smuggled. Statistical research shows that 70 percent of respiratory diseases come from wild animals. Humans being adventurous by nature have encroached into the habitat of wild life and have not even spared Bats, Snakes or Civets for their gastronomic pleasure.

If we are actually looking at cure from such viral diseases permanently we need to understand our species and eat food that is in harmony with our anatomy & physiology. Actually we must eat food that is biologically suited to our species. We being frugivores must take fruits nuts, herbs etc and must turn vegetarian. It’s a wakeup call for all of us to reflect and join into a new world of awakening so as to prevent our coming generations from such nature’s fury.

Ever since childhood, these are common statements that we listen from every Mom, "Have milk or you won't grow." The popular Jingle 'Sunday ho ya Monday, Roz khao Ande' has aspired every single Indian to have it daily as the ads claimed that it is the only food on planet Earth which has the maximum nutritional value. But such is the power of Media and ad compaigns that creates so many misconceptions and illusions about various food items that we intake knowingly or unknowingly. Have you ever wondered about Ox - one of the most muscular animal on Earth and that too herbivore, how did it get its muscles without consuming any animal products like Eggs, Meat or Milk. Keep your Heart Healthy - The Vegan Way

A few days back an article from TOI caught my attention on - 'Be aware, Be Heart Healthy.' The focus was on Tsunami of heart failure heading our generation, but can be checked through Early Detection and Prevention. The Key is to eat right, exercise and be aware of the warning signals. The statistics shared were alarming where 30℅ of cardiac patients were under 30. Though the Government is taking lot of initiatives to beat heart failure by Campaigns like 'Fit India' and 'Eat Right India.' They have even scaled up the medical infra structure, still the magnitude of Heart Problems is so high that it has not been addressed properly. This article gave me a food for thought that why the Heart Problems are skyrocketing. There are few reasons - * Sedentary Lifestyle, * Promotion of Processed Food and Meat on Television and Media, * Chemicals present in the Processed Food leading to Dopamine Effect and we tend to get addicted, * The relea...
