Which protein shake 'Ox' takes for building muscles???

Ever since childhood, these are common statements that we listen from every Mom, "Have milk or you won't grow."

The popular Jingle 'Sunday ho ya Monday, Roz khao Ande' has aspired every single Indian to have it daily as the ads claimed that it is the only food on planet Earth which has the maximum nutritional value.

I must appreciate the power of well - made television advertisements that it turned lot of vegetarians into a new section of society called 'Eggetarians'. But such is the power of Media and ad compaigns that creates so many misconceptions and illusions about various food items that we intake knowingly or unknowingly.

Have you ever wondered about Ox - one of the most muscular animal on Earth and that too herbivore, how did it get its muscles without consuming any animal products like Eggs, Meat or Milk. For the same reason, if we look at an Elephant or Horse, which are also grass eaters, are no less in their muscularity. So if at all, they require protein for their muscle built up, they might be getting it from plants.

Vegans eating a balanced variety of fruits, vegetables and nuts are never deficient in the amino acids necessary for building proteins required for the body. Rather Plant Proteins are easy to break down and releases energy quickly for the body to use. While Animal Proteins creates acidity, where as plants leave an alkaline reaction suitable for human body. Apart from this, Plant Fibre cleans and restores bowel and clear the toxins from the body.

Reminded me of my childhood days when my father took "Naamdaan"( as I popularly heard that only) which means holy name of the Lord and we were not suppose to eat any non-vegetarian food....... Today I once again felt that our parents were always right and showed us the right path.
    Respect!!!

The focus was on Tsunami of heart failure heading our generation, but can be checked through Early Detection and Prevention. The Key is to eat right, exercise and be aware of the warning signals. The statistics shared were alarming where 30℅ of cardiac patients were under 30. Though the Government is taking lot of initiatives to beat heart failure by Campaigns like 'Fit India' and 'Eat Right India.' They have even scaled up the medical infra structure, still the magnitude of Heart Problems is so high that it has not been addressed properly.
